Dorn/Halco-Haack Consortium
Hello! My name is Elijah Swan. I am currently finishing my DMA degree at Louisiana State University. Helping to facilitate the production of new music is something that I have been very interested in for a while, so it is very meaningful that I get to do it as part of my doctoral project. With that being said, I am very happy to say that I have the honor of working with Henry Dorn and MJ Halco-Haack to help bring about two new pieces for the trombone repertoire.
Henry's piece will be a 12-15 minute long piece for solo trombone and piano, and MJ's piece will be a 5-8 minute long piece for trombone quartet. The deadline to sign-up by is DECEMBER 1ST 2025.
